Bryan enters his third season with Express Hockey in his role of Coach of the 2005 Express Team as well as an on ice instructor for many of the express programs.
Bryan has called Hampton his home for most of his life. He and his wife Stephanie reside in Hampton with their 4 sons, Jaxon (13), Evan (9), Carter (7) and Reid (5). Who are all very passionate hockey players. Bryan’s teaching experience of 19 years has allowed him to gain many coaching certifications and experience in coaching numerous sports teams at the High School Level including Basketball, Soccer and Hockey.
Hockey is Bryan’s passion and his favorite sport. He has been playing hockey since the time he was able to skate. In his late teens Soccer became his focus as he went on to play University Soccer at St. Thomas. Bryan's coaching philosophy is one of discipline, teamwork, skill development, and fun. He is committed to excellence as a coach, and strives to get the best out of every single player.
Express hockey has had a tremendous impact on all of my sons’ hockey development. With Express my sons found a program that provided them with additional ice time throughout the hockey season in addition to the Minor Hockey Program. The Express program helps to provide a program where committed, passionate young players who want to play more and are ready to develop their skills can do just that. It is a program where like-minded and skilled players from many communities can play together, make strong friendships and develop as hockey players.
Since 2011 he has assisted with the 2001 Express team as the Defense coach while his oldest son was involved with the Express Academy. As well that year he assisted as an on ice trainer for Express Summer Camps. In 2012 his second oldest son began training with Express and he became involved with this age group, instructing and coaching at the 2005 level. This past year as Head Coach of the 2005 Express Team they took home one Championship when competing in Massachusetts, USA winning the Reebok Cup. As well as having a strong performance at the Wild Turkey Shootout and Mite Invitational.
Prior to Express, Bryan coached many levels with the Atlantic Hockey Group, including the selects program and with this he gained great experience in managing and developing young hockey players.
